Why I Am Running
I am seeking Re‑Election with the goal of raising standards for local elected officials through strong qualifications, experience, ethics, and transparency!
• As your Benton County Commissioner, I want to continue to work with cities across the county, including mayors, city managers, and city councils. By coordinating resources when appropriate, communities can address shared needs such as public safety, infrastructure improvements, and housing challenges.
• Benton County is expected to face economic and financial challenges due to reductions in state‑level funding for public safety, infrastructure, and economic development. Addressing these funding gaps will require careful financial management to avoid unnecessary tax increases and prevent wasteful spending. I want to continue to use my background in finance and business to help evaluate how taxpayer dollars are allocated and ensure essential services continue at a high level.
• My experience in leadership, finance, teamwork, business operations, and human resources supports my ability to work with community partners on local economic issues. A strong local economy helps create job opportunities for both families and young people—whether they pursue skilled trades or complete college—and helps families remain in the community.
- I am the only Benton County Commissioner to have over 30 plus years of Extensive Finance Experience. As state and federal funding to cities are being cut, its more important than ever we elect experienced and qualified candidates to serve as Benton County Commissioners to help ensure Benton County stays on track financially while offering outstanding services to its citizens!
- I am running to give back to the community I love, and to the county my family has called home for more than 30 years.
