Kalen Finn: As many of you know I have remained silent for a while before starting to endorse and support other candidates. The reason for this is that I wanted to find candidates that hold similar beliefs on the issues that mattered to me and many of you. Please know that my endorsements and recommendations do not come lightly. I have since the beginning of this journey held the belief that the city comes first. It comes before friendships, political party affiliations, and should never be subjected to partisan politics. The city of Richland, along with each and every one of you matter first and foremost.
The strongest candidate I feel regarding the issue of the Duportail Bridge Project is Michael Alvarez for Richland City Council Position 7. He continues to remain pragmatic, and is actively looking for ways to eliminate or mitigate any issues that will result from such a project should it continue forward.
Duportail Project Watch Group - August 26, 2017 – Michael Alvarez for Richland City Council Position 7. He's the right person for the job.
